Preparing and Presenting the Municipal Budget

One of the most difficult and demanding tasks for a Municipal Government is the preparation, presentation, and adoption of the Budget. In order to make this task as efficient and least time consuming, as well as understandable, I have combined the power of MSExcel and MSPowerPoint to create a powerful paradigm where budget numbers can be presented and changed “on the fly” to enable elected officials to finalize their budget in as little as one meeting. This eliminates the tedious process of line by line analysis of each item, making slight changes to the items requiring another meeting to see the results and another alliteration of the budget. Time, money, paper, and most of all nerves can be spared using this revolutionary method.
